7 month Herbal Immersion
Delve into the world of plants; their medicine, intelligence and magic. Through this 200 hour program (112 in class, 88 home study), participants will learn holistic anatomy + physiology, nutrition and herbs to support each body system along with herbal strategies for treating common ailments. Plant identification, basic botany, herbal actions and energetics, medicine-making, constitutional approaches, creating formulas, and many other plant inspired experiences will be shared. We invite several guest instructors to teach throughout the program as well. Participants who complete all requirements and hours will receive a certificate of completion for 200hrs of herbal study. This course is intended to offer a solid foundation in herbalism for both those who wish to go on to further study and those who wish only to enrich personal herbal knowledge for self, family and community. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply regardless of race, religion, “dis”ability and/or sexual orientation.

**Although we love children, all parents, mamas and nursing babes, we have to accommodate all students and their ability to learn and focus. For this reason, we cannot allow children to accompany participants. Partners or friends are welcome to bring children during lunchtime to nurse and connect.***

Two students have the opportunity for work/trade to cover the cost of the apprenticeship program (minus the $250 deposit). Each student must commit four hours each week to gardening/yard work, some minimal assistance in medicine-making, and other related tasks. The work is very heavy in farm/garden/yard work - weeding, planting, pulling vines, tilling, moving compost and mulch, etc. We will only consider students flexible enough to take on ANY task. Keep in mind, this is not an opportunity to learn more herbally - this is an opportunity to attend the Apprenticeship in exchange for work, instead of money.
If interested, please email the school at email@example.com.
We will send you an application to complete.
A payment plan is available for those interested. The total cost of the program when paying by this plan, is $2200. Please note, this is $200 more than if the payment is made in full up front.
$250 deposit due by April 1st.
Payment of $450 due first session: April
Payment of $500: each of the next sessions:
May, June, July
If you plan to participate in the payment plan, you need to let us know by March 31st.
